On April 17th we start a ten week adventure, first boarding the Norwegian Star in Tampa for a transatlantic cruise that will make two stops on our way to Copenhagen, Denmark.
The planning has been a lot of fun and we admit, quite time-consuming. After crossing the Atlantic, we will stay on the Norwegian Star through the Norwegian Fyords and the Baltic’s. There are many great ports of call along the way and we look forward to the experiences!
At the completion of the first set of cruises we head onto Europe for four more weeks of traveling by train through many of the great cities in Eastern Europe and Italy. Meeting wonderful people and visiting historical sites.
Our final leg is out of Athens on the Oceania Sirena with many Mediterranean stops, most notably, Egypt and Israel.
The final port for the Sirena was to be Istanbul, with the turmoil in Turkey, the final port was moved to Rome. We will fly to Istanbul for a few days and then fly home.
We hope you enjoy our blog over the next couple of months and hope we can give you all ideas for your future travels!
